After 8 games, other than quarterback....

what position is this team lacking?

Defense:

I think since Sam Montgomery was injured, we really have taken a step back on the defensive end position. But the one position I think we have been really terrible at this season, is the safety position. The Jai Eugene project at Safety isn't working. Brandon Taylor is good kid, he has some big hits, and some big tackles, but he has also missed alot of tackles. For someone in the know, why hasn't Craig Loston seen more time?

Offense:

gotta be the offensive line. Chris Faulk should be playing more, Josh Williford should be playing more. T Bob is getting man handled at the guard position. And Dwyoracek or however the hell you spell it, has also been a disappointment. Once again, anyone in the know please let us know what is going on with the O line. And Fullback, we still don't have a fullback. Also Deangelo Peterson has also been a major disappointment coming back from injury.

 

Not in response to your thread, and I don't want to derail it, but in reference to Jai. Did you see him chest bump AU's O coach?

There was a blurb about it in the local paper here. That was Trooper Taylor and he was recruiting Jai for Tennessee and they became friends. Taylor is a recruiting machine and one helluva motivator on the side lines. I wish we had him.

 

Is he the one recruiting Greg Robinson? I think Frank and Stud are recruiting him here for us, and Stud just gives me the irks.

 

That is another legitimate criticism of Les Miles. I don't know if it is Stud, or Miles, or how much technique is taught by whom, but I do know that Barksdale and PJ are really the only ones who aren't undersized, starters. T Bob, just isn't cutting it, and I realize that he made a heady play against Tennessee, but he should be PJ's back up. Dworcsyzk or however you spell it, shouldn't be starting either, Chris Faulk is there, use him.

 

I dont know. I dont follow Aub recruiting. I wouldnt have known why him and Jai did that bump thing if it wasnt in the paper.

 

I think the talent on this team is not as good as a lot of people think.
Offensively the talent at every position is at best mediocre except maybe the runningbacks.
Defensively the same except maybe the corners.

 

why not try PP7 at safety and let Mathieu play the corner full time?
