I figured I'd ask you guys since (unfortunately) not many UVA fans have experience. I'm flying in at about 115-130pm and plan on trying to find tickets to the early game right outside the stadium a few minutes late (can only buy UVA game tickets through UVA). Is this going to be possible and how much should I expect to pay for 3 tickets? Also, how far away is the parking and how available is it? My son is on crutches and I want to drop him off at the gate and then find a place to park - how close can I get to drop him off without any type of parking pass? Any other advice here?

Thanks a lot for any advice you can offer and here's to a well-played game with no injuries!

And this can't be said enough... thanks again for the LSU-VT football game.

I can't offer any advice for Omaha, though I'm sure other posters will have plenty for you.

What I can do is say, "You're welcome," for that VT game. That was about the most perfect game I have ever seen the Tigers play, and I have fond memories of it...I'm glad you enjoyed it too!

You can walk right up to the ticket booth and buy GA tickets or get them from peeps on the sidewalk. Usually face value for those. They are sold in books of 10 and most ppl don't need all they are required to buy. They let you in on a space available basis. Usually, you will have no problem getting in. If they have stopped letting ppl in, you can watch on big screens in the plaza area. Usually, they will open the gates back up after 2 or 3 innings for more GA seating.

I could ramble further but check out the official site. You may even be able to get a handicapped spot at no charge (if you have a temp handicap permit from your state). There are lots of places around the stadium. Everyone w/ any yard what so ever offers it up for a price. Shouldn't be too difficult. The furthest we had to walk last year was about 10-15 min at a non hurried pace.
