Makes me think of the Bosnian War, plenty of blonde haired, blue eyed mussies in this one... why were we fighting for the mussies again... oh yeah, Clinton was president.

No its not difficult to believe someone allowed this atrocity to happen. Hell this idiot sheriff is suspect #1 because he is a loon in an alternative universe simply blinded by public office. To blame the NRA knowing the dereliction of duty by his deputy and 3 other officers blows my mind. They stood outside listening to those kids get slaughtered; he then shit all over the 2nd amendment to deflect. Knowing they had failed.

Are we really supposed to give up our security to these hapless and gutless humans. In fact its the exact reason we must police our own. The complete failure at the federal and state level repeatedly is mind blowing. I think I read there was actually 45 calls to Broward since 2008.

For no one to act on any level for 10 years - add to the fact Cruz called himself 4 days prior asking for help knowing he was losing it I can see its easier to believe he was intentionally ignored. but why would everyone do so. On every level. Incompetence is the easy answer but it doesn't really make sense either. This entire case would be a failed Hollywood script.

Records obtained by CNN show Broward County Sheriff's Office received at least 45 calls for service relating to the Florida school shooter or his brother from 2008 to 2017. The sheriff's office has insisted it received no more than 23 calls https://t.co/SBeYHOIRjD https://t.co/HMvyDfoQxK

AT LEAST 45 calls. Nothing more could have been done outside of hog tying the kid and dropping him off at the police station themselves.

Calls relating to Nikolas Cruz include descriptions of fights with his brother, cursing at his mother, and throwing her against the wall for taking away his Xbox. The issues brought to the sheriff's attention worsen over time. In 2014, someone accused him of shooting a chicken with a BB gun.

Records show that in 2016, a neighbor warned the sheriff's office of an Instagram post in which Cruz said he "planned to shoot up the school." This week, Joelle Guarino told CNN she placed the 911 call and had begged the sheriff's office to intervene.

This isn't new but bears repeating :

The FBI was warned a month before the Florida school shooting that the gunman was "going to explode" and harm others.

The January 5 tip was provided by a woman close to 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, who would go on to kill 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School with an AR-15 rifle in Parkland, Florida.

"I know he's going to explode," the woman told the intake specialist who received the call.

"I just want to, you know, get it off my chest in case something does happen and I do believe something's going to happen," the woman said in the transcript that was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The woman said she had fears that Cruz would end up "getting into a school and just shooting the place up."

The transcript offers a glimpse into the concerns of those who knew Cruz before the attack, and the fears they had about his temper.

The call lasted 13 minutes and the woman continued to list reasons for her concerns, one being that Cruz had the "mental capacity of a 12 to 14-year-old." She also gave the FBI several accounts on the photo-sharing app Instagram that Cruz had been using to post pictures of weapons and ammunition.

She warned that Cruz was due to receive a lump sum of $25,000 in an insurance payment soon and that she was sure he would use it to purchase weaponry.

"It's alarming to see these pictures and know what he is capable of doing and what could happen," the caller said.

"He's thrown out of all these schools because he would pick up a chair and just throw it at somebody, a teacher or a student, because he didn't like the way they were talking to him."

She said he had also posted pictures of dead animals that had been cut up, and had at times dressed like "a ninja" or something akin to a jihadi from the Islamic State militant group (ISIS).

"Well that's what happened. He brought the bird into the house. He threw it on his mother's kitchen counter and he started cutting it up. That to me would be a red flag."

In September 2017, Cruz also posted a YouTube comment that read: "I'm going to be a professional school shooter."

The FBI has been clear that it failed to act on the information provided before the shooting, as well as several other indicators that he could pose a threat to the general public.

What can be made of this complete systemic negligence. Did someone at the top give orders to stand down on this case altogether. I'm trying to find a conspiracy to believe.

Vball thinks to change the state from red to blue is the underlying intent. How would you go about that plan.

Sheriff Israel said in that video the order under which he operates his department is God, family, community. Those are nice and all but when charged with To Serve and Protect, community must come first. Israel has done nothing but pander to the left in Broward. And when given the first opportunity, he took the bus wheel as it headed toward Peterson. That is not leadership. He needs to be removed.

Not just that but the disarming of the public. You are seeing and will continue to see stories in the media about the NRA imploding, losing sponsors, the public opinion changing toward limiting gun ownership. It's all bullshit.

Why is a Broward deputy with ties to Hamas, training a local mosque on active shooter techniques?

This teacher sounds credible to me. Why isn't this accounting showing up elsewhere?

    And what of this?

Florida really is in a league all it's own. Meet Judge Elizabeth Scherer. She was married to one Anthony Mercer for one year and they separated. She then began dating one Officer Charles Grady whom she had met in a professional capacity. Her dad allegedly didn't like it because he's Catholic and wanted her to stay with Mercer. Dad hired a PI to follow her around. She broke up with Grady, went back to Mercer, got knocked up, and hoped for that happy ending.

However....turns out Grady was a total perv. The State Attorney prosecuted Grady for sexually assaulting female arrestees. And eventually Mercer was arrested for drug dealing after he was caught allegedly holding an ounce of cocaine, a pound of pot, and some prescription pills. Judge Scherer divorced him.

Judge Scherer also signed a SWAT warrant to raid the house of a small-time drug dealer, Howard Bowe, an unarmed 34-year-old father of three. But when Officer Michael McKenzie walked through the busted-down back door, he almost immediately shot Bowe, who was unarmed in his own kitchen, twice in the stomach. Police reports never say Bowe did anything to threaten McKenzie and as Bowe was dying in the hospital, Hallandale cops charged him with “resisting arrest without violence.” Bowe never got his day in court, and those charges are now disposed.

Guess what judge is assigned to the Cruz case?

I’m a little more shocked they haven’t brought up the AR-10. Is it because they’re more expensive?

"they" don't even know what an ar15 is. Except it's a military grade weapon of war. And its black. Color is 50% relevant to its lethality. Is that a word.

Banning bump stocks is just to throw the idiots a bone. which I dislike surrendering freedoms especially just to appease. And raising the age to 21 for a rifle when you must sign up for selective service and/or can go to war at 18 is a direct fucking contradiction and is ridiculous.

Don't you have to be 21 to purchase a handgun? I heard that the other day
