This is shocking and disgusting to hear as the number 1 lesson learned from Columbine was that waiting only got more kids killed and that the first LEO on the scene should enter and engage the shooter(s) without delay.

Seriously, he could just be giving lip service til this blows over. He could also be serious, and change his mind tomorrow.

 

We know that 13 children were caged, chained, starved, and beaten....by their own parents. We know that child pornography is a worldwide phenomenon. We know how much knowledge and cover up were required at Penn St. Over 3,400 hundred cases of child sexual abuse was reported to the Vatican. So we have parents, college administrators, and the entire Catholic hierarchy covering up evil. Why is it so hard to believe that 17 children ended up as victims?

I am not saying they "wanted" it or that 17 was the target number. I am saying it's not so hard to believe that certain people within the government and police municipalities allowed this to happen. Kids are innocent and least able to defend themselves. It's why they are targeted. Boko haram. Norway. Hitler. The Vatican. Guyana. Cambodia. Always children. That emotional response is what will drive public policy toward disarming the law-abiding citizens of this country, depriving them of the ability to protect themselves from an over-reaching dishonest government.

To be fair, the goal of our society IS to keep people out of jail. That’s why they’re called “corrections”. To correct that bad shit. The problem is, we can’t control human behavior.
