There is a store near LSU on Nicholson where I use to go that made good poboy and is owned by ragheads. They were always friendly when I was buying something but I heard a guy say right after 9/11 that he went in there and they were all dancing and praising Allah

That guy is named Abed and he Sunni Muslim from Jerusalem. He is a very nice guy and damn sure wasn't dancing on 9/11

 

@tirk hits the nail on the head when he pointed out it is Western Culture that moderate Muslims must fully accept. Islam has been resistant to embracing secular life.
Shane has seen the worst and most primitive element and his opinion is understandable.
It's too easy to be a chameleon and have these savages live among us until they are activated. How we deal with that is a hell of a challenge.

I was thinking of the other part of Nicholson. There are lots of businesses in Baton Rouge with Lebanese/Palestinian/Egyptian guys. All of them are nice guys. Probably most of them are less tolerant than you are about liberal values, like women's rights or gay rights or blasphemy or whatever, but I bet almost zero of them are Islamist sympathizers. And their children are probably pretty much 100 percent American, don't care about Muhammad, and are busy banging cheerleaders and testing better than all the local blacks on the psat

 

I think you misunderstood. I favor doing them a favor by eradicating the non-progressives. Which may include most of them as well. because there is no clear line between progressives and the sympathizers is there. thats rhetorical.
