oh come on. the same thing would have been said before 9/11. The Republicans would absolutely getbhind the President. But just like after 9/11, after a few months everything would go back to politics as usual.

One big difference though, if we are attacked everyone will be blood thirsty again. If we don't respond the Republicans and I believe the populace as a whole would start to turn on Obama.

I am NOT saying Obama would not response. Democrats, as a whole, tend to be more dovish. So IF Pres Obama follows that line, I think he would start having trouble.

    1. Landman for Midland Oil Compnay (can't find name)
    2. Formed several Oil companies including Arbusto Energy Inc.
    3. Chairman of
    Spectrum 7
    4. Consultant
    Harken Energy Corporation
    5. Managing General Partner of Texas Rangers

I am positive he got oil jobs because of his father, but still he had jobs before his political career.

#1 was the job that I listed. All of the other jobs were after his first run for public office in 1978. Incidentally each of his oil businesses failed.

ok fine. Bill Clinton has the professor job for 1 year before running in his first campaign. That is it for private sector jobs.

    McGovern campaign in college
    Professorship
    Failed run for the House
    Elected AG of Ark
    Governor
    President.

Bush at least had private sector work.

    Landman
    failed run at House
Landman for Midland Oil Compnay (can't find name)
Formed several Oil companies including Arbusto Energy Inc.
    Chairman of Spectrum 7
    Consultant Harken Energy Corporation
    worked on his dad's campaign
Managing General Partner of Texas Rangers
    His dad's campaign
    Governor
    President

Who had more real world experience?

this "terror is a concept, not a thing that you can shoot at" is an annoying meme that is endlessly repeated by liberal idiots as if it demonstrates some valid point.

anti-war cowards: we freaking know you cant shoot at "terrorism". stop repeating it because your favorite liberal pundit said it.

Three years, the same experience that Bush had before running for office.

    Five terms as governor

All five businesses failed as well as his dad's first campaign. Experience at being incompetent. Yes, I'll agree that George Bush was accomplished at incompetence.

It's probably a wash. It's not a requirement for office anyway.

    Wrong. 1 year.

    Biography of the President

so, 20 years as a privileged politician.

ok but as managing partner of the Texas Rangers he somehow managed to make that team profitable. $800,00 buyin in 1988 into $15mil when he left in 1998.

    Experienced politician.

He managed to make the team popular. Co-general partner Rusty Rose assumed control over the financial side of the team, Bush was the public face of the team and sold the idea of a new stadium to the city. Nolan Ryan had something to do with the teams success.

lets see, they register over a million people. if they have a 5% error rate, that's at least 50,000 bad registrations. 5% is not uncommon for nonACORN reg drives. besides, the whole ACORN false registrations got tons of disingenuine pub. by law in most states, ACORN has to turn in all collected registrations even the ones ACORN's management believe to be wrong.
