    Why not 100%?

    It's got to be coaching:hihi:

Ole Miss was competitive in last year's game for one reason: Patrick Willis...and he's gone. Sorry Rebs. Yaw Yaw Footbaw ain't gonna cut it this year.

I like how they list D. Odom "injured" with what must be a bad case of "legal troubles".
Hope we get a vaccine for that. Perhaps antibiotics will take care of it.

They gave us a game last year in our own stadium. Even Vandy and Kentucky, the perennial SEC doormats are beating contenders this year. We should take them well enough, but we should never take them lightly.

actually last year ole miss was competitive b/c of willis but also our special team's coverage was horrendous in that game (worse than tech last week) also benjarvus green ellisexpialidocious ran all over us and the defense and offense sleptwalk through most of it. miles insisted on playing vincent on senior night most of the game who was ineffective.
without JR, there's no way we would've won that game.

i think if our offense can click we should have little prblem, but that's been a pretty big "if" at times this season.

4 of the last 5 have been decided by 3 points or less. Plus, we had to come back in the 4th quarter to beat them the last 3 times we played them in Tiger Stadium....

Remember how exciting it was when we scored on 4th down to tie the score, then had the x-point blocked? Talk about emotions from one extreme to the other. Luckily, OM fumbled on their 1st OT possession and the rest is history. That was my son's first game in Tiger Stadium (see profile pic). He was pretty bored until the very end, but it turned into a game he'll never forget. Kinda like my first time in TS (EQ game).

We have to remember, this is OM's bowl game. The one they have circled on their calendar. The one they want to win worse than any other; so much so that they schedule their bye the week before the LSU game. The have nothing to lose, so like last year, I expect to see them throw out all the stops (onside kicks, trick plays, 4th down gambles). We can't overlook them.

yeah i remember that swing after how bad we looked i thought missing the xtra point was pretty fitting.
i left that game with a sense of relief. my friends were bashing miles but i was just praising JR for another great comeback.
