So, how does the Bott signing play out with Wing. Incredible to have two great (potentially) punters, but do we need both?
LSU wanted his commitment fully aware that Wing could get cleared so I don't see it getting pulled or anything like that. Not sure what Botts feels and I assume he knew the chances that Wing could be coming in this year.
I'm glad to see Gore cleared, and Ware plus Blue coming in. Am I the only one a little concerned about our depth at running back? Murphy has not produced in game situations, and he's coming off a serious injury, which leaves him a big question mark in my mind. That leaves Ridley and Ford, which is not enough depth. I see one of the frosh running backs getting playing time this year.
book it, ford will be the beast this year, provided he stays healthy. murphy is a senior and deserves to start, but i don't think he will carry it as much as ford and/or ridley, and i agree with your concerns about his injuries/lack of proving himself in game situations. still, i think he should start. i think it would be nice to see murphy have a rondell mealey-like role, a situational slasher type, lots of delayed draws. and, it looks like they are addressing depth in last year and this year's recruiting to me. we should be fine, imo.
Gore has been cleared... That makes 2 season in a row at 100% qualified. That is not common unless you are Vandy.:hihi:
Guess I don't understand the new rules. Cameron Fordham and Elliot Porter will both take greyshirts this year. Usually only in-state players get them but Cam is a legacy so understandable. I guess this means that no players from this class counted back neither Washington or Adams. I assume it is because we had 85 on the roster on scholarship last season.
