You're saying that they thought he cheated the first time and was required to retake it and proved them wrong by getting the same score?
No, scores are automatically flagged when you increase your score by 6 points on one try. Which was the case with Simon.
Here's a link to an article about the attrition of Prater and Taylor and the medical hardship of Parsons and Williams...all old news, but the last paragraph really caught my eye...... "Also, four members of LSU's incoming recruiting class were unable to enroll in summer school for academic reasons: defensive lineman J.R. Ferguson, running back Jakhari Gore, linebacker Luke Muncie and punter Brad Wing. All are expected to ready to report in August." LSU football: Two Tigers planning to transfer | NOLA.com I hope these guys take their tutors seriously. opcorn:
Thanks for the link... Luke Muncie was really surprised to find out he couldn't report and he has to retake one of his classes the summer. More of a burden than a problem given he is a pretty good student. Gore and Ego both need a point or 2 in either GPA or ACT to get clearance. Might see a correspondence course with one of them if all else fails. Wing was 1st speculated to be a non-issue just some classes that didn't transfer from Australia but also heard that he just took the ACT for the 1st time last weekend which is odd if true. He is actually the one I am most worried about at this time and may be the reason we just offered a kicking specialist, Christy, who Punts, Kickoffs, and FGs. Great at all three but rated highest as a punter.
Not exactly football, but ....cross your fingers. LSU basketball: Tiger recruit K.C. Ross-Miller held out by NCAA Clearinghouse | NOLA.com
Somebody addressed most of these, but I remember for Wing specifically the issue was his credits from Australia not transferring over. I'm sure all will be fine and they'll be good to go come August.
Here is what DD had to say. Pretty sure the Maclin info he provided is wrong and the Wing stuff seems to match up with what I have heard. Muncie had to take a class again that was not accepted by the Clearinghouse but his grades are solid regardless of what is said above.
