So many people in Baton Rouge like Jimmy Ott are calling for CLM to be fired and he is in over his head that a win doesn't fit.

CLM winning out puts us at 10/3 and in the Top 10 final rating.

We all want skins so what does this count for. Well, it gives the kids on the team a great trip for all the work. We get to beat up a Big 10 team and I get to go to Mickey's house.

Fans pull for the team and love winning. I flipped out after the Ole Miss game and I know many did. But as my blood cooled and my Clear thinking returned I understand the plus and minus of any head coach.

The problems that some coaches can't be fixed with a clock aide on the sideline.

Like most coaches I know CLM is rock headed. But I think the Ole Miss game at the back end like he likes to say hit him in the nuts.

They made a perfect late drive and worked the clock down to 9 sec for a 47 yard FG tie.

JJ choked in OT and missed a wide open #1 on 3rd down. I thought it would undo all the great work. But, our kicker made our must have FG and our D forced the Hogs into the same kick and he choked!

    We win!!!!

    come guys 9-3

It could have been 11-1 and a trip to Atlanta but we have had weak play at the QB spot and Bama has the Refs in the pocket!

I'm happy to be a Tiger and unless things change on all forums I done!

Win = slow board. Funny how it works out that way!

People on the Forum are sometimes like drivers...

They all slow down to look at a bad wreck, but otherwise, they are too busy speeding along to give it a second thought.

Rubbernecking - not just for the highway.

    Yep

No youtubes on how the Tigers handled that last 1 min to get the tie!

    No Fox Sports no ESPN

for now on well for years any clock management issues will have Les brought up!

I can deal with it because he brought a certain level of it on himself.

But , it is over the top vs his record and his soon to be 5-0 bowl record at LSU!

We kill PSU and Joe Paw will not sit well with the Jimmy Ott's of BR!

    Geaux Tigers

    just Win baby just Win!!!!:miles:

if you are a fan of the Tigers you should be happy about last night. I was glad Miles got put in the same position, and was able to prove that he made the necessary adjustments. I believe after last night, that Crowton was the one who most of the blame probably falls on for the Ole Miss debacle, but Miles is taking the heat (as he should). I think Crowton will be gone, and I look forward to moving forward. I am so proud of Miles and his staff for making the adjustments, and putting this team in a position to win. I want Miles to succeed, and I hope yesterday was a big step in just moving forward.
That was Saturday Night in Death Valley. I loved Mallett eating crow after proclaiming "I told you so!" to EA....Ha Ha... :geaux:

I think a subculture of LSU fans has developed. They hate Les Miles, and will only cheer when he fails. So, they won't be happy about last night. They're still LSU fans, but misguided:miles:

Every Tiger fan is happy with a win. I'm not sold on CLM's coaching and gane managing ability but always want the team to do well. I'm a fan of this team, not the coach.

After what we've been through, I can't imagine anyone's butt cheeks didn't tighten up when Arkansas scored and we needed a last minute drive with only 1 timeout left in order to stay alive. If you weren't tense, you've never watched CLM coach in the stretch before. But the team got the job done when it mattered and got a win. Props to Miles for not choking. Bigger props to our kicker who was money in crunch time twice.

Maybe people aren't posting because it's Sunday morning of a holiday weekend and they're travelling.

I know at least one of my friends is like that. Except he says he's no longer an LSU fan until Miles is fired and now cheers for Alabama
