I didn't get to see the game...was working...but heard from several people that Musberger forced them to change the channel.
I did stop watching after second quarter. Couldn't brace myself for the USC lovefest going in to the half time.
Word is that the Nielsen ratings in San Francisco were off the chart for the game. They hadn't seen that much man on man love in the city of sissies since broke back mountain hit the theaters. I thought muffburger was going to leave the booth, run down on the sideline and hump petey's leg right there on national tv.
Saw again in the paper this morning about Carroll whining about not being No. 1. Where was all that indignation when Auburn got the shaft in 2004?
