Well we are still laid up in hotel in Atlanta and trying to get my voice back, watching the Rose Bowl and the question came to me. Is Brett Muskyburger and alumni of USC or is he just a little pawn that is told to push them for ESPN execs. I mean he acts so bias ,it seems like he is an old ( I mean old) alumni or is told like ( some pimps little b_____ ) pump up USC or else. this is really bias. Someone help me understand how he comes up with this crap every year.:tigereye:
I couldn't stand to hear the usc band play the first down song every other play and turned it off at halftime. Glad I missed that lovefest.
You guys actually watched the Rose Bowl or did you just leave the television on after the parade? The Rose Bowl is the biggest joke of all the bowl games. It pits the Pac-1 vs. the Big Nothing yet gets all the publicity in the world. Those two conferences can't hold the jock straps of the SEC and Big 12! USC...your season is over. Please move on to underwater basket-weaving.
I couldn't understand anything that Muffburger or Erbstreet were saying because they both had SC's balls in their mouths. You know, I see something like Pete Carrol on 60 minutes a few weeks ago, and it changes my perception of him. Then I watch the Rose Bowl, and the media's portrayal of the Trojans instantly reminds me of why I can't stand them. It truly is a shameless display. Even the most objective fan would have to admit that it is way out of hand. And it's a shame because it to me, it tarnhishes the image of an otherwise very respectable program.
This was soooo bias , you just have to wonder is it the front office making the pump the USC program or is it just them. I mean Muskyburger ( if not an old alumni ) has to be the most miserable person to have to do that kinda stuff on national Tv, Now Captain Kirk , just a head that got missed by the Brain Train . He would of made someone a good farm hand ( kinda stocky, and clueless )
Here is my summary: 1. It was really hard to watch...and listen to. I want to throw some coaches and some commentators off of the Grand Canyon. 2. At least we made it respectable in the end? 3. Cross out number 2. No moral victories. 4. Just argh. We are better than we played in the 2nd Q...especially the penalties. 5. Alcohol.
Musberger is the worst. He is so pompous - I can't stand to listen to him. I thought we were finally rid of him when the other network tossed him out, then ABC picked him up.
Its nice of him to completely forget about the other team that is ranked higher than the precious Trojans. I believe that Texas has a better shot than the trojans.
