I haven't watched a minute of what I knew what would be either a USC love or excuse fest depending on how the game went. Waiting on Cincy - Va Tech game to start.

I am honestly willing to say that Penn State's defense is worse than LSU's.

    I truly believe this.

USC's offense has NOT been impressive all year. They have been solid, but nowhere near great.

But LSU's defense would not have given up more than PSU has today.

    38 points and counting.

Well you just missed Herbie saying USC would be playing for the title if it weren't for Oregon State. Now I'm one of those guys who believes if you can't win your conference then you got no business in the BCSNG. So next time they need to beat up on those PAC 10 powerhouses like Stanford and Oregon State .

Oh now Mush is talking about a USC's current dynasty.

The Rose Bowl committee had a prime opportunity last year to pit a great team vs USC instead of Illinois.

Something tells me they have this thing rigged up to keep USC perched on high.

Thank God the rest of the nation sees right through that bullshyt.

Let's be fair here. When u play so many ****ty teams every year, there IS a big chance that u lost to one of them. :)

    Bingo.
USC vs UGA matchup would have pitted USC against much better caliber team. Everybody knows the Big 10 has been down this decade but because of their history and tradition they make a prime target.

I love when they said that they needed to send a memo to the east coast journalist and tell them about the pac 10 5-0 bowl record. I think someone needs to send Musberger a memo remanding him about the weekend the pac 10 went 0-5 against the mighty WAC.

Another remark that the PAC-10 will be winning the bowl championship cup because the PAC-10 won all their crappy bowl games.

Also, petey might have won 4 rose bowls in a row if it weren't for VY. No mention that the game was the only one of the 4 that really mattered.

Sucks that the SEC could very well wine 6 or 7 bowl games and somehow get looked down on. Amazing.

I agree. They could have won three or four Nat'l Championships if they could just stop losing to a ****ty team in their ****ty conference.

I don't see what the problem is. Pete Carroll decided in 2003 that the Rose Bowl was good enough for their own Nat'l Championship. They've gone to the Rose Bowl almost every year since. What's the problem?
