To be honest, I find it tiresome. Celebrities and sportsmen are people too, they have their down times and all that. I think I'd go insane if I were to smile 24/7

No one is trying to dictate how this woman should feel and you damn well know that. Unless you've dealt with it first hand, you have no idea how cancer patients want to be treated.

Tread lightly here ok bro, because my mother very recently lost her battle with cancer and those wounds have not healed. So this is one time that it would be best for you to just keep your mouth shut and move on. Can you do that just one time, no matter how strong the urge is to respond or how much you think you're right?

like i said, she says he is a nice guy and thats all there is to it. non-story. stop trying to portray something the way it isnt.

i dont care about your personal stories and i wont tread lightly. i am talking about a news story, not you.

Ok dude. Everyone gets it. We have a difference of opinion. You've also made it perfectly clear on more then one occasion that you don't care about anyone but yourself and you reenforce that with your comments here. Its old news. Can we move on now? There's really nothing else that needs to be said.

thats true but on this occasion i was for fairness for all in the sense that i was defending aaron rodgers from absurd nonsense allegations. you were the one being an ass, commanding me to be quiet because of some personal stuff that has nothing to do with me. asking me to "tread lightly" all threateningly? please, i dont play this game where i pretend to be all reverent when somebody plays their irrelevant personal stuff card.

That's all well and good, but why are you compelled to defend Aaron Rodgers? If this thread is as absurd as you believe, people will see it for themselves. Besides, I'm quite certain he sleeps well at night whether you have his back or not.
Did you really perceive my 'tread lightly' comment as threatening? Really? What could I possibly do to threaten you? I wrote that in the hopes that, if you knew my situation, you would not continue trying to goad or inflame me but that obviously failed. For that to work, you'd have to have at least an ounce of compassion or empathy for others and you clearly do not. Lesson learned. I won't make the same mistake again.

because he didnt do anything wrong

nothing, which is why i ignored you. you didnt say it would best for you if i kept quiet because i might hirt your feelings, you said it would be best for me, which is crazy:

"this is one time that it would be best for you to just keep your mouth shut" - fanatic.

that was actually incorrect. it was best for me to say what i want.

we live in a culture where prople pretend to care about things they dont care about. i dont do that. you are a random person and i dont care about your irrelevant personal concerns. and i was never talking about you so you shouldnt care. the thread isnt about you so i dunno why you think you should lecture me.

No one is asking you to care. I'm certainly not. But given the situation, you can choose to show some common decency instead of purposely trying to provoke me. It's comparable to the Westboro Baptist Church protesting at soldier funerals. Their message is not specifically directed at the deceased or his family either, but it is still tasteless and inflammatory.

Here's the thing. It's not up to you to decide what is/isn't offensive. Your continuous provoking even in the face of someone else's grief is what's offensive.
Just your insistence of continuing this thread is reenforcing to everyone how morally weak you really are. Then again, how can I expect you to have an ounce of decency towards someone else when you have none for yourself? You've made your point over and over again. It's like hearing the same song again and again. Everyone knows your position. Your not telling anyone anything new. Let it go and move on.
