Well now he really has blood on his hands. Derp..... Anyway pictures popping up all over the Internet of people "hernandezing". It's either the iPhone pic of you in the bathroom mirror brandishing a pistol, or wearing your arms inside your t-shirt rendering the sleeves useless.

On top of allegedly shooting some other dude in the face and another drive by shooting, he's apparently being investigated for a double murder in Boston a couple of years ago. Dude could very well be a serial killer. Maybe not in the traditional sense, but if he's murdered up to 3 people and attempted to kill more, that would fit the definition.

If not serial then at least serious. With all the homicide allegations surrounding this dude, how could an organization like the Patriots, who pride themselves on character due diligence, recently re-up this thug for 40 mil?

i was reading some reactions on a Patriots forum, and they had people there saying that: how can we go around preaching "the Patriot Way" when we had a guy like Hernandez on our team?

The Patriots have announced a free exchange of any Aaron Hernandez jersey

Any Hernandez jersey that was purchased at the Patriots ProShop or through PatriotsProShop.com can be exchanged for a different player’s jersey of comparable value at no additional charge.

”We know that children love wearing their Patriots jerseys but may not understand why parents don’t want them wearing their Hernandez jerseys anymore,” team spokesman Stacey James said in a statement. “We hope this opportunity to exchange those jerseys at the Patriots ProShop will be well received by parents.”

People have been saying that, but I see it more as standard damage control, although a nice touch at standard damage control. The Pats are only giving people a two-day period to come in and exchange their jersey, so it will be interesting to see how long the lines are and all the media attention it gets

Guy on the radio made a good point, saying don't kid yourself, it's all about marketing. He was saying the only reason they are doing it is to get people in the store, because the more people you get in the store, the more stuff they will buy

Also, you think about how over-priced those jerseys are, they could sell 10 for the price they charge you for 1 and easily make a profit, so giving fans 2 for 1 and getting them back in the store, which will led to them buying more stuff, it's win win for them, not even counting the extra damage control win

Its looking more and more likely Hernandez was involved in at least 5 attempted murders leaving 3 people dead

    1. The main murder

    2. The grey SUV with Rhode Island plates witnesses saw pull up to another car at a light, spray it with gunfire leaving 2 of the 3 in the car dead and one injuried....police just impounded a grey SUV with Rhode Island plates they found in the garage of Hernandez's uncle's house in Hernandez's hometown of Bristol, CT

    3. The guy in Florida suing Hernandez for shooting him in the face....turns out Hernandez was in the car with him another time when they tried to escape a cop who was trying to pull them over... going 100 mph in the chase. When the officer finally got them to pull over, Hernandez rolled down the passenger window and said "Trooper, it's ok, I'm Aaron Hernandez," according to the police report

Couple interesting points from a New York Times article:

Hernandez originally committed to UConn where his father and old brother went. Tebow helped convince him to come to Florida:

"Hernandez switched his commitment to the University of Florida, after visiting the campus and staying with Tim Tebow, then the Gators’ star"

    Also:

"In the fall of (Hernandez's freshman year at Florida), The Orlando Sentinel reported that Mr. Hernandez was questioned by police about a shooting that injured two men. Friends from Connecticut were with Mr. Hernandez that night, the Sentinel reported."

the two guys arrested as accomplices of Hernandez in the Odin Lloyd murder are both from Bristol, CT like Hernandez
