He came out Monday after the game and said that it wasn't, but then again who knows. This was from Jefferson.
I think the coaches were really trying to give Lee a chance to shine. He had such a terrible year last year with the INT's, and the BOO's and such. I really think they were trying to let him redeem himself. I mean, JJ hasn't hurt us this year, but he hasn't been overwhelming either. If Lee could have come in and had a really strong game, then maybe we might have something there. But we all know how Saturday night turned out. I'm actually satisfied with the results today, but I was fuming mad Saturday night. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Very good 'theory', and boy was a fuming made Saturday, also a little drunk. I just see holes in that theory when you see how close it was late in the game. There should have been almost 0 passes in the 4th quarter, based on the previous 3 quarters.
Again, I think the coaches were aware that the offense could pick up points on the ground when needed and the D were holding their own in the 2nd half. If Lee needs to play a lot against Ole Miss, the important thing was getting him snaps and getting him back in the offense. Now if Lee actually had gotten picked off on one of his attempts, I think they would have severely limited his pass play calls from that point on, and if it resulted in a pick-6, would have gone strictly to the running game the rest of the way.
I don't know what game you saw, but I saw one that had one passs that was very close to a pick 6 and another that would have been if Techs defense was better. Presuming that the coaches wanted to get him game reps to get him prepared, how much better do you feel he's prepared tp lay agains Ole Miss? Maybe we sholud keep the QB's off the field in practice this week and give the RB's more reps. Stirctly "Wild Tiger". Make like Navy and play an entier football game without passing the ball once. It sounds kind of laughable, but it might give us a better chance agains Ole mMiss than JL will based on his effort and his results from this past week.
I had wondered about that too! He didn't seem to have the same connection with Tolliver. I am just hoping that JL realizes that he can play better than the way he did the last game. Maybe he was rusty sitting on the bench too long. Wonder if he was in the same mode as JJ earlier this season, being too mindful of interceptions, or just not having enough reps with the first line WR's. Has JL been practicing more with RJ?
Any doctors out there...what exactly a high ankle sprain? (stretched inter osseus ligament between tibia and fibia?) also What is a sports hernia? I really have no clue...and neither do some doctors I know.
High ankle sprain is the spraining of the ligaments above the ankle joint, low ankle sprain is a sprain of the ligaments below the ankle joint. High ankle sprain takes longer to heal, generally.
