BS. The receivers have all made statements quite the contrary.

Oh, so we're supposed to believe a radio hack instead? It's competitive at receiver, there are never enough balls to go around. The idea that a receiver would slack on a play, cost himself a reception, and risk demotion by his position coach is ludicrous. Who would he be sending a message to? "Coach Miles, look at me. I'm letting the team down and making you look bad to demonstrate that I'd rather see the guy on crutches playing insead of the guy in the game trying to throw me a pass."

    Sure.

This is lame-ass radio shock DJ bullcrap trying to get gullible listeners.

If it truely is a high ankle sprain, then it could be the bowl game before he comes back... remember PH last year at UF had the same injury, he missed a few weeks... but still had limited abilities against OU in the NC... ankles are one of the worst nagging injuries to have (especially for a mobile QB like JJ) and that may take many weeks to fully heal.
But if he does miss the Ole Miss and/or the Arkansas game, we're going to be in some serious trouble... we won't be able to stay in the game too long if we can not sustain long drives... our D will be gassed by the half if throw for 3 and outs all day.

i didn't say believe the radio hack, but watch the players. I think there is some validity to this. You don't think Byrd quit last year on Lee? What if some of that is still lingering?

    See my edited post above.

I think Byrd quit on himself. I've seen zero evidence of this this year. What do you have to offer?

Lee looks like he's completely regressed from any of the success he had last season. He hasn't made any of the sweet touch passes he threw for TD's last season.

I saw Lafell, give up on routes saturday night. Now maybe he just didn't think the ball was coming his way, or didn't think it would be beneficial, but if your route isn't there, shouldn't you break off and try and hit a hole in the field? Josh Reed made a career at LSU by doing that.

I don't know if it was malicious, and it may not have been, but i don't think it was completely on Jarrett Lee. The receivers could have done something to help the kid out.... Except Tolliver, Lee strung him out on that play.

I thought it was NOT a high ankle sprain. Was I mistaken?

I could've sworn during the game after he went out, they said it was a high ankle sprain. I could be wrong though... my 6 year old was talking my head off playing his video games next to me.
