A team takes on the characteristics of their QB

    Again, a Heisman-winning QB could be a big difference there.

    Absolutely. When your QB spots almost every team you play 6 points it can get you down. And then they usually get blamed for those points too. You know our defense gave up over 100 points to UF and UGA?

    Well, 38 (for UGA) + 44 (UF) = 82

    Lee's picks don't count for the defense, but still pathetic.

    That's the point. Technically they don't count, but whenever people talk about our defense they mention these teams hanging half a hundred on us twice - putting the blame on our defense regardless.

    So your answer is to give it to the QB?

    82 > 21, IMO. And it could be argued that if the defense didn't let the opposition put us in a multiple TD hole in the first place...like FL, then we wouldn't have been passing as much and therefore wouldn't have thrown at least one of the pick sixes.

    Not that I'm saying the INT's don't have to improve...because they are getting old quick.
