Coach Paul Mainieri will bring his Tiger team up against the legendary Augie Garrido, winner of 5 CWS titles (3 with Cal State Fullerton and 2 with Texas). On the face of it that fact would seem the make the Horns the favorite. But CPM has a legend on his side too. Does anybody know how often CPM goes to Skip Bertman for advice and how big an influence Skip will have?

He makes the calls, and though if he sought advice I'm sure he'd get it, the Skipper probably doesn't run around giving it without being asked either.
