Not a fan of 80's metal hair bands.

 

I get it if you're not a fan, but I wouldn't put Megadeth in the hair band category.

 

What about Iron Maiden. I was never a big fan of either. But a friend of mine had those sadistic posters above his bed.

 

I'm a HUGE Maiden fan and even though their popularity exploded in the 80s, no, they're not a hair band either. When I think of hair bands, I think of Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt, and bands like that.

Judas Priest, Metallica, Maiden, Megadeth are true metal bands that really let their music define them, not their fashion or hair dos.

 

I agree, but I was directly responding to someone using incorrect statistics. So you have taken the entire conversation out of context with that little blurb, but I totally agree that these are real people with real tragedy we are talking about.
