Another "aaaaaaaaa bomb from aaaaaaaaaa rod" Has anybody heard this radio announcer with this call? I hear on SC radio updates all the time and I can't get the damn phrase out of my head. Does he feel the need to compete with Thaaa Yankees Win!!! Thaaaaa Yankees win!!! guy. Or, maybe its the same guy, but I don't think so.
john sterling. has done it for about 100 years. hes annoying and sometimes is guest on sports reporters and other shows you just probably didnt recognize him. "It is high, it is far, it is gahhnnn(gone)!!"
Cowherd on ESPN Radio was talking about how A-Bomb might piss off some Asian Americans the other day.
Yeah, I heard him talking about that a little the other day. It wouldn't seem as bad in my opinion if Sterling just said, "A bomb from A-Rod" instead of "an A-bomb from A-Rod."

In the first game of the Jeremy Giambi can't slide series out here, I was in a drunken stupor after the A's win in the first game at the Oakland Coliseum and made KCBS radio the next day with a "Thaaaaaa Yankees lose" cheer when I collared the KCBS reporter (I saw the recorder she was lugging). I hate that guy.
