I've noticed a heck of a lot of new posters to this website, and I want to welcome all of you here. A lot of you guys (and girls) came in during a historic meltdown and have only seen this forum in trying times. It really is a civil board and the posters are mature. Most of us haven't officially welcomed you all and most of you haven't had time to properly introduce yourselves. I'm a newbie too. This week marks my first year here and I thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread where the proper introductions and welcome aboard posts could be made. So now's your chance to tell us how you guys became tiger fans...and where you're from, etc. and if you have any suggestions that would make the next meltdown better. It's also a time for veteran posters to give advice as well. This really is a place to express your opinions and they're all as valid as the next one...whether we agree or not. What makes this site the best is that, for the most part, personal shots are at a minimum despite the fact that emotions run high. Also, this is probably one of the best moderated forums around...There's a lot of tolerance...and a lot of vigilance by the mods. People don't get banned from here easily. Anyway, I'm glad you new people are here....welcome aboard.
I claim to be mature because my body is 55 years old...it's only my brain that's immature (14 or 15 on a good day :insane
I'll go first, I was born at the Baton Rouge General in 67', I was raised in Denham Springs my first 22 years, most of my family are LSU alumni, My grand mother used to make/modify (cant remember) the Golden Girls outfits back in the late 70's early 80's until she past (i remember sitting at my grandmothers when them pretty gals would come in to be sized ) , all my family is still lives in Denham, I am the only one to move away. I never went to LSU but spent more time there than most that went there.
Welcome to the board again TwT. You will enjoy the experience. A lot of great folks here. If want to know just about anything you can find it here.
