Hi there. Does anyone know of any person or organization that tries to keep statistics on arrests/dispositions/team-disciplines for BCS conference teams? As background, I sometimes comment on various articles and editorials posted on TSN. And, as some of you know, I'm primarily a Huskers fan, although I have truly liked LSU's act over the past few years (football, coaching, general conduct of the players, how discipline is handled - the whole package clearly makes LSU's program one of the better ones around). In any event, I recently ran into a guy who loves to selectively quote arrest and conviction statistics as a basis for calling the Huskers "thugs." As an example, he stated that the Huskers were the biggest thug team "in this millenium" and supported it with 4 DUIs over a 30 year period (one was from the mid-70s) and brought up the Lawrence Phillips incident, which happened 14 years and three coaches ago (lol and yah, I am fully aware that Osborne is AD now). I wanted to see the raw numbers, something that could be used for comparison purposes, and asked if anyone knew the actual stats for Nebraska players at least from January 1, 2001 to present. But even if I were to get those stats, I would not be able to contrast those numbers with numbers for other teams. It would seem that somewhere, some college football fanatic (like me, only farr less lazy) may have started trying to collect and sort through those statistics. Anyone seen or heard of anyone who's that devoted/insane? All the best, X

I love this comment from the blog. "Okay, I can live with the Fulmer Cup, but how about a Richter Scale for violations?" Pretty damn clever.
Auburn has 0 points. Is that possible? I guess illegal and calculated chop blocks attempting to end careers don't garner any points.
lol I'll have more to say about that about 2 weeks before your game with Auburn. For now, suffice it to say, I do believe it was intentional, but I now believe Ziemba was the culprit, and not Ramsey. To my mind, that remains the ugliest incident in College football in 2007. All the best, X
