Watch as these kids jump and dance when their teacher tells them that Nevada has lifted the indoor mask mandate. A classroom of excited Las Vegas elementary school students were caught on camera jumping with joy after their teacher told them the mask mandate had been lifted. 'Starting tomorrow, we don't have to wear masks anymore,' the teacher said Thursday as she was met with roaring screams and applause from her young pupils.
Yeah, well, too bad how you feel or don't feel. Wear your mask when society says so, or go find another planet.
I told my 7yo daughter that she'll probably be able to unmask very soon and she absolutely beamed and gave me a big hug. She never complained, but was clearly relieved. Interestingly, my 4yo son who goes to a private preschool has been maskless since August.
This is it, right here. This should (but won't) make everyone happy. A study showing that the wearer of a proper mask is protected, and does not have to worry about what anyone else is doing. https://www.boston.com/news/coronavirus/2022/01/11/does-one-way-masking-work/
It's not a feeling, its a fact. YOUR health is YOUR responsibility, not mine. Get over it or stay home. I don't give af either way.
At what point would you find it acceptable for masking to be an individual choice? I'm already there because: - We already know that politicians can't be bothered to follow their own mandates - Schools are safe and kids are overwhelmingly not at risk - People have made up their minds, one way or another, on vaccination - Good news for the highest risk people: one-way masking works I'll wear one if a homeowner or private business asks me to - but f**k a mandate
It's already an individual choice. If you don't want to wear one where required stay away... Your choice. As for mandates I think almost all of them will go away soon, although I hope the airline travel masks remain.
