MLU, what should we make of the fact that throughout that rather long preview, you never mentioned the name Russell Shepard?
I wish have seen her on the news but a quick search just pulls up some porn pictures with chicks of the last name del rio never knew there were so many!!!
Absolutely. Uninspired play has plagued the team all season. It's not unheard of any more than a team committing stupid penalties all season long. The O-Line (especially the interior) got pushed around all season. In the case of Hebert, size/strength probably was an issue. He's pretty young still, so that should go away in time. In the case of guys like Hitt and Barksdale, they got caught blocking high allowing defenders to get under their pads and push them back. Even if your a little undersized and not as strong as the guys in front of you, blocking is all about leverage. If you get under the guy's pads, it doesn't really matter that he has 40 lbs on you. That's a coaching mistake and the biggest reason why I was hoping the biggest coaching move this offseason was the replacement of Studrawa. Lyle Hitt is a senior, so he shouldn't be getting blown off the ball all-year-long like he was. If they finished games winded all season long, then I might share your opinion. I don't think it's cause for concern. The recruiting success will continue as long as LSU is located in Louisiana and the athletic facilities are not razed. The addition of Wilson and Gonzales will only strengthen an already strong recruiting program. Well, I really tried to refrain from talking out of my ass on this one (it was tough, I know) and that's why I didn't mention Garrett either. I don't know what to make of Shepard and I think the coaches are just as confused. I don't think that he's going to un-seat Jefferson as the starting QB. I am hoping that he sees the opportunity he has to become a playmaker as a receiver next year with Toliver and Randle being the only returning guys with ant real playing time.
The rumor I've heard is that Shepard is having trouble learning the playbook. That being said I don't have any inside information, just a rumor I've been hearing. But, it does explain him not attempting any passes this year.
Re: An EXTREMELY Premature look at your 2010 LSU Tigers Bullchit. Les has recruited very well at LSU and it shows no signs of slowing. You just like to try to make LSU look as bad as possible to any recruits that surf . . . on every post. Why would you do that unless you have an interest in LSU doing poorly.
