From the "hot seat" to demanding more money... and mostly because Michigan is rumored to be interested... If they are going to give him a new contract, it should be based on the stipulation that his offense actually makes it into the top 40 in yardage/scoring.

reminds me of all the fans from Penn st that wanted Joepa ran out of town 5 or 6 years ago until they were top 5 the very next year and won the big 10.

all hes done since then is average about 10 wins a year...and yet they have resurfaced. I could see Joepa leaving because of this. Possibly to Michigan.

We shouldn't pay Miles a penny more.

3 years of a pitiful passing game and it hasn't been fixed.

I don't see how that can be rewarded. 11-2 record be damned.

If his contract ends in 2014, then leave it at that.

I've learned to deal with Les Miles' shortcomings because of his success recruiting. However, there is no way in hell that man deserves 5 million/yr! It may be more beneficial to keep him rather than taking the risk of finding a new coach. Some of y'all think fans have unreasonable expectations now. Give Les Miles 5M/yr and see what happens. LSU does not have that much money.

Doesn't Michigan and the rest of the big ten typically spend less than the compensation packages found in the SEC and shouldn't they for the lack of BCS Champioships? And as far as WVU fans go, you sure they weren't talking about there former coach Bill Stewart?

I think what Miles would like, is to be able to coach here as long as HE wants, and possibly more control...

Doesn't mean more money per year, but possibly just security from at least another 5....

So you would feel better if we were Top 20 in all phases and finish 9-3? I'll take 11-2 and couldn't care less about all of that other meaninglessless drivel. In the end it's Wins and Losses and little else.
