Just saying it's hard to cast rocks from Louisiana. I love Louisiana, many things about Louisiana, but we damn sure aren't without our faults.
Culture, New Orleans, food, thriving film industry, music, deep deep history, beautiful women, sportsman's paradise, I mean I could go on and on and on. Alabama has a terrible Lynard Skynard song and college football. And fuck, the only reason they have college football is because 75 percent of the good players come from Georgia Louisiana and Florida. Are you from Louisiana?
Uh yeah. I love our culture and our food, this is my home, but I don't see the world in black and white. Haven't spent a lot of time in bama; been to the beaches (nice) and through the tunnel (pretty cool but traffic nightmare) and never been up north, though I hear it's pretty. I'd like to check it out some time.
Spent 25 years in the military and saw plenty of the north, south, east and west of the USA. Spent 5 years traveling back and forth between Mississippi and Alabama and never could figure out which was worse. As bad as Mississippi is, trust me , Alabama is worse. I don't see the world in black and white either, but I am well traveled and savvy enough to know that Louisiana has more to offer outside of college football than MS and AL combined. Lasalle's post is well said and true, especially about the film industry, in which I am currently involved in. Louisiana is quickly becoming the Hollywood of the South.
That's the happiest I ever seen the lil bastard. He must really love him some AJ. Guess he'll be heaertbroken to see his little boy toy go Pro.
