Helloooooo.........I have not speculated about how much better or worse we'd have been with a different QB.

Sounds like you have a problem going with the wrong QB.

All I am asking is Les plays the best player next year, and it is wide open for competition.

And i'm sure that's how practices are... I highly doubt Miles has RS or Garrett catching pine because he wants to see JJ and LSU fail. If either was good enough now i'm sure they'd be starting.

He needs to start throwing passes above the kneecaps. I still think he's a pitcher in waiting.

Is it really? Did you believe that Alem was the right DE to play all game or just a good pass rusher? Did Keiland deserve to sit on the bench as much as he did? Waste a redshirt on Shephard just to play him sparingly. (he had a pretty damn good average by the way when he ran the ball) Was Herbert really the best center? How many freshman were much better talents than the upperclassman? Are you sure LesCrow will put the best talent on the field?

Do you have an opinion that would ever go against Les Miles? Come on you supported JL in his glory year.

Should you change your sig to Les Jr. ??????

I think JJ is getting undue criticism here. Many seem to blame him. No QB can succeed with a pathetic OL and no running game. I dont care who it is. Im not saying JJ is doenst have a lot to learn. He does. His pocket presence is pathetic. JJ also too often thinks too much before throwing the ball. Causing him throwing an incompletion, to not hit the WR in stride or worse, an INT.

When given time though and the play calls actually allowing him to go down the field JJ hasnt done bad at all. If the coaches call the same for him like they do for Lee, LSU would have had a hell of a lot better passing attack. Teams never had to respect the run this year so they could easily load the box. When all your routes are short curls, screens, flats, etc you wont do too well. Too often the play calls didnt have anyone going down the field to utilize our speed on the outside.

While JJ does have a lot to work on I think its more on the OL and coaching. The OL must be coached up, if they dont improve next year we in for another long season of struggling against what should be much lesser competiton. We must be able to run the ball. You cant play Big 12 ball in the SEC, it wont work. All LSU could do this year was throw.
