As much as I do not want to get ahead of myslef and start looking at the bama game....I cant help it, bama will be good no doubt, in miy mind their still a mystery though, cant say I have them pegged, because im not sure about who they have played yet.....starting the year their schedule looked tough, but looking back now, I cant say that. Someone on their board said it best, I think THEY got lucky this year.....they do not have to play Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida, 3 of the top 5 teams in the sec. Their lone "tough" game is....LSU, that being said Bama's O-line is maybe the best in the country, QB is nicked up right now, eddie lacy is tough, but not a home run threat, tj yeldon is more the home run threat, but not as violent a runner, Defense is young...but will be very sound, let's face it, Saban is the best at that game! Personally I think the battle will be won in the trenches......whoever wins that battle sprinkled in with a few big pass plays.....provided turnovers are pretty even ....will walk away with the "W". I love the fact that it's in death valley....big tilt towars lsu there.

Don't believe the Tigers or the Crimson Tide will LET anything happen. Both sides will have to take it. BR on a Saturday night will not overwhelm the Tide as it did SC. That's why picking West Virginia and Florida State and the likes, week after week, by all these talking heads, with no regard for big game moments in hostile territory is nothing more then wishful thinking and amounts to nothing more then following fools gold. Been to BR and for big games you get big game atmosphere. Great teams will rise to the occasion and it only challenges who you say you are. Looking forward to Neyland stadium this Saturday for all the reasons just mentioned. A true hostile, vile, good time. We just don't like each other and regardless of the record, never will. RTR

Bama may not be overwhelmed......but it will definately add a few degrees of difficulty in getting off plays and making adjustments at the line of scrimmage!!

It's called home field advantage for a reason. But most of the time the best team should win. It will be trench warfare at it's best and the first team to HAVE to go one dimensional will be on the short end of a good game.

Yea let Tusk know how many we have. It's another one of those years where last year the fans were saying how good we were going to be this year but I think as a whole we might have been a year off. We are re building and can still compete with anyone in the country. I will stand by that even if we lose to OBama.

Best I can tell, Alabama has 22 freshmen and sophomores in it's two deep. Bama has 3 soph. starting on offense and 3 soph starting on defense. No freshman starters, even though guys like Yeldon are playing a heavy role. Forgot, Amari Cooper a freshman wide receiver did start against Mizzou.

Only reason I asked is because I wanted to know how many starters have never experienced Death Valley before. At least on the field.

I figured that. Not knocking BR, I love the big game feel from way back, but this team went to beaver stadium last season, to the swamp, Jordan Hare with Neyland in front of us Saturday. Just saying, crowd noise is crowd noise at the loudest level. It's those kids in purple and gold that has Bama's attention and mine.
