THE GOOD 1. Our defense is dominating. They deserve a better offense. 2. Hill has become the go-to running back. 3. Good halftime adjustments on defense took Manziel out of his game. 4. Boone had a beautiful, highlight-reel reception. 5. Three interceptions. THE BAD 1. Mingo was offside five times. Brick Haley where the hell were you? 2. Mettenberger passing less than 40% and overthrowing at least five open receivers. 3. Offensive play-calling remains predictable. 4. We have no reliable field goal kicker this year. 5. Wing is still off his game at punter. THE UGLY 1. 13 Penalties for 110 yards. No discipline. Stupid personal fouls. 2. LSU's offense is simply pathetic. One dimensional. Worst passing game in the conference. We will not see the SECCG this year. Put the blame right in Studrawa's lap.
The tv dudes were talking about the Louisville QB tearing it up. Freakin' Louisville. How can tHat guy get past us? Damn. Hell they are oeverywhere, ...except LSU. Does not compute.
Et tu Brute? When Red finally admits it even the apologists can't deny it. The only thing I disagree with is that LSUs offense isnt "simply pathetic", it is epically pathetic. Miles offense makes the era of leather helmets look cutting edge. There has to be significant coaching changes on that of the ball.
I have been critical of this offense all year, pay attention. I have been hell on Studrawa for three years now.
Red, I am pretty much in agreement with all the points good. bad and ugly. I would like to add to Bad #2, ...and at least three of those were almost certain touchdowns. While I'm at it, I'd like to point out that though Wing punted straighter and deeper today, he isn't kicking optimally for the coverage. Someone needs to get down field quickly with awareness or Wing needs to adjust to his current gunners' capabilities.
Good points Red and spot on. I would like to point out the last two weeks have shown marked improvement in our play. We dominated USCe at home. Both lines dominated (I like this term) supposedly good to great USCe lines. Today we played our best away game of the year. Even with the morning start in a hostile enviornment we held our cool and worked through the problems. Compare this to the Auburn and Fla games where the offense wilted under the pressure. This isn't the second coming but we continued to improve game by game I would say that should be added to the good category.
You have have balls in your face b/c I do not know of a poster here who hasn't been critical of all coaches on this team, including Chavis.
I see a lot of your posts immediately after mine. I hope you arent responding to my posts because... " You are ignoring content by this member." Your mindless uniformed drivel was cluttering the board so I ignored you some time back. The board has at least appeared much more intellegent ever since.
