You started this out by saying the problem was no adjustments. There were adjustments. The last three games and also the Florida game - you know, the other decent team in the conference we played apart from Alabama - had better defense in the second half than in the first.

There were no in-game adjustments. You couldn't prove that if you tried. Steele calls his base D basically 24/7

    3 and out
    Ole Miss TD
    3 and out
    Ole Miss TD
    ...
Interception run back to the LSU 11
    Ole Miss TD

A big shared of that is the offense, but regardless, only 14 points allowed in the second half.

Of course you can always deny that any adjustments were made. I don't have the stadium communications bugged to prove it, no.

Why didn't A&M score for the last 48 minutes, and why didn't the Florida offense score for the last 23 minutes? I don't believe either team was so terrible when we played them that their offenses just got worse all on their own against a defense that made no adjustments.
