This was a great game and a great victory. It had all the elements and in the end it had the right outcome. Man I enjoyed that game and am happy for that team and those coaches because they've had to endure a lot in one-loss season. Gotta be tough to work and focus while taking a lot of heat from every direction. Great effort guys!

Each year it seems like a Freshman shows you something. They perform at the level of a much more seasoned player. They don't look like a rookie. Go back and watch Hill. This kid has that look. He not only plays his position but he plays the game and he plays it hard. Check out how far he comes to make the TD saving tackle. There were about 10 Tigers closer to the play than Hill when the turnover occurs.

    That was fun ...

By the 4th quarter of the game last night, I knew that I would be proud of the team regardless of the outcome, but I was thrilled to win. It felt like the '07 Florida game.

I also loved that the fans were apparently still in the stadium chanting "LSU" for a while after the game because it was all I could hear when Sports Center went to Spurrier's press conference where he threw Shaw under the bus, then ran over him at full speed.

I tend to rag on the student section a lot, but we did a damn strong job last night. Players did a great job of helping to pump everyone up. Great energy, place was rockin and crazy up till the end.

The gump game may not play out as exciting even if we win. I think the seismograph was in jeopardy last night.

I expect the stadium to be rocking early on the 3rd. I wanna feel it all the way up here in Texas.

You know I'll be hosting a "watching party."

    Hill looked great.

But don't forget about the two Freshmen on the O-line, both on the right side, who manhandled that side of a very tough SC defensive line. I'm as proud of them as I am Hill if not more so .. they were in on every offensive play .. not just a few star studded plays.
