I bleed Orange and Blue and our Defense is DEFINITELY coming together, but right now LSU may be unbeatable.

The SEC and NC game will be between LSU and Bama.. Man it hurts to say that.

That is not to take anything away from this team. They are progressing nicely considering the youth and inexpereince overall. Our Offense is very weak without a receiving core. I do hope Moseley continues to gain confidence, but I am afraid it will not be against LSU. They will be in his face all night.

The coaching staff better work hard with Clint next week and simulate fast rushes. I think Clint is the man the rest of the year, with Kiehl coming

    Up Next LSU

just shows the level of football knowledge in the SEC

not just fans but a fan base that understands the game

I agree with everything they have said in that thread. No way Aubarn is coming out with a win esp in Death Valley. Day or night! They could barely beat Florida.

Yep. A Florida team that is lucky to have a pulse after getting ass-pounded two weeks in a row by the two best and most physical teams in the country.

I do have to laugh at the AU posters sentiment that their "defense is coming together". We'll see about that, ace.

Not sure this fan base would be this real about what is about to happen but Auburn seems to be dealing with it. Not sure when they play Bama they will be this down to earth about what is fixing to go down!

Auburn will give us a battle, they pretty much always do. One of their guys always seems to have a career game vs LSU.

I'm not so sure. This is a very different LSU team. We're very efficient and businesslike.

    dont ever underestimate an opponent.

when you say we cant be beat and the players think that way then we are prime for an upset.

We did it to fla. a while back when they were no.1 no one gave us a chance.

Focus on playing smart no matter who you are playing and stick to the fundamentals of winning each play.

It only takes 14 performances of your best to win a nc.

The ones who throw it away or the ones who get overconfident and dont prepare properly to succeed.

And dont forget about the breaks. That football bounces funny sometimes.

And while we are at it lets get rid of the gangster trash talking and show some damn discipline on the field.

Hatcher want to fight all the time and was lucky we didnt get 15 on us for his retaliation.

I love Les and have backed him from day one. But i wonder about his discipline on the team sometimes. What wing did and the trash talk can be fixed in one meeting of the team. And he doesnt have to be the one to fix it. Let your team leadership fix it.

This is a VERY disciplined team, trash-talking aside. The trash-talking is less about discipline and more about swagger, a term that lots of folks are uncomfortable with. But a good team has swagger.

It's not about underestimating competition. I watched AU struggle mightily with Florida last night, a team that we toyed with a week ago. And Florida was making hideous mistakes that AU could not take full advantage of.

We will beat AU by a score similar to the last two weeks' scores. We will do it because we will be focused.

The only time all season that I saw us unfocused a bit was during the first half of yesterday's game. If that's as bad of a let down as our team will have, we'll finish strong this season.

I think a certain amount of smack is cool with me ! I would rather have the swagger and the walk than the other. Not seeing to much trash but I am seeing a great deal of good turn over free football.
