i do not think we need him, he may have to much issues to bring to the team, we have Keiland Williams who if gets to be the primary back will put up great #'s.

yeah. Noel is in no way an immediate need, but we have the scholly to offer, and we have no one else to offer it to... it's worth a shot imo...

Are there any LBs or DEs we could offer? I wouldn't mind nabbing Devine, but maybe there are areas that would be better to address.

With no McKnight, in no way do you pass up a Devine. He has too much potential to give up on. Hopefully with the guidance and help of Deion he can change his life around. I know we have Williams and a slew of top notch talent. Still in all, Devine is a rare player like a McKnight and Harvin that is a major threat every time they touch the ball. Yes we have Holliday, but remember his lack of size.

I think Devine will be going to Prep School and do the whole recruiting thing all over.

He would make your class look better for the rankings, but then he would be just another sign and place guy. I would like to see the rankings after we find out who doesn't make it in.

AU signed Wilfred Journet, the 6-2, 242-pound Louisiana 5A Defensive Player of the Year, but he will not be on campus. bama signed Murphy and Davis, chances are neither will show up this fall, not sure who y'all have in the same situation, but if you signed Devine, it would be the same thing.

Last year the KW thing worked for you, Ford didn't for bama (though I think he is now with South Fl.?)

These guys may pan out, but mostly they are all icing, no cake.

It's good for pub and if you are a top team in the recruiting standings the biggest difference between being #1 and not is probably the pub (if you are recruiting intelligently).

Not that I know anything about Devine, but Les did coach in Dallas while Deion played there. He may have a good relationship with Deion.
