I have no problem with Pete's statement. On the whole, he's right. I think the point he's getting across is that these early polls are about as useless as t!ts on a bull. He just used LSU as an example, and made sure to say "at the moment". He's right. We haven't really been wow-inspiring yet at all this season, and IMHO very few teams have. We started off with a good spot in the polls (the best spot in the polls of any unranked team at the end of last year), and we've won both our games. I say let em all talk. If they're wrong, LSU will expose that fact over time.
I actually think we're in pretty good shape. I don't think we're a top ten team right now but we have two "easier" type games before we have a real test and then a real real test. I think we can whip our team into shape by then.
