Just a good story some might like....

Could L.A.'s Jay Goldinger Hold The Key To Defeating Homelessness? | FoxNews.com

"To date, Food-on-Foot boasts an 89% success rate; roughly the reverse percentage of success enjoyed by government-funded programs. Oh, and did I mention that from Day 1 Jay has refused any and all government funding?"

Jay told us that when a new group of workers sign up, he provides each with a mirror and offers this admonition: "Take a good in the mirror. You are looking at the enemy; the only person holding you back from a bright future.”

Neato. I've always thought that the cures to these sorts of societal ills can't come from broad state actions, but from applications of granular remedies from individuals on the ground.

Did the article mention how he's financing it? Is he rich? That's been an idea of mine; get unbelievably wealthy so as to have the wallet to tackle problems like that. Not as easy as it sounds apparently.
