These are the breaks though. If you go into a season totally depending on everyone to be healthy with no back up plan, then you shot yourself in the foot. You are right though, we were relevant until we lost in Tuscaloosa. Then the same crap that happened in 08 happened in 09 with the exception of an Alex Tejada shank. But we basically traded an Arkansas win with a bowl loss. Les Miles in 05, 06, and 07 was 15-2 from November until the end of the season. in 08 and 09 his record is 5-6. With wins against Tulane, Troy and Georgia Tech in 08, and Louisiana Tech and Arkansas in 09. Not nearly good enough. those 6 losses have been 2 against Alabama, 2 against Ole Miss, 1 against Arkansas, and 1 against Penn St.

What could we do without an SEC-caliber quarterback the last two years? Is this key missing element not obvious to you?

Not only did you lose Scott than Williams but also your QB had a nasty ankle sprain that takes forever to get right. All things being equal it's the big games when it does show up.

Really the only criticism I have is when you were healthy you needed to identify yourself as a physical running team. Besides Alabama you were the only ones in the west who could. Well let me throw Dixon in there but just a little, I want to keep Col Reb happy.

All we need for 2010 is an O-Line, D-Line and a new QB. Oh and for sure a new OC.

So happy that Alem is gone. Never was an every down DE, and never will be. Another example of Les going with a senior over the best avaliable player. Not sure why Les loses sooooo many OL signees before they ever take the field. Could it be they feel they have no shot to compete??? Especially when Les thinks he has the best OLINE he has ever had.

Hold on tight boys this ship is sinking..... 5-7 next year and no BOWL game. Maybe this will wake up all you Les lovers......somehow I doubt it.

No the SEC would line up in unison for your players. If Bama could do it with JP Wilson and he never looked off a receiver and when our line made a pocket for him he never figured out he could step up in it, Bama had him managing the game.

You have had NFL O-line talent and your running backs can dominant. So run the football. Make it your personality.

Do you want Snead or maybe Mallett? LSU to me is just as well off.

Perrilloux? Really? I'd just as soon not go back to the Cecil Collins days, but that's just me.

    they promoted an assistant coach.
which of our assistants would you want to hand the program to?

big gamble, and it has paid off for them.
Tressel was at an in-state 1AA school before OSU.

yeah he won a title at Youngstown St., but I don't think many OSU fans were real excited about getting a guy who had never coached a Div 1 A school
