career-wise, it's not even close. it's like comparing a 12 year old kid to Tiger Woods. But right now, I would rather give the ball to Papelbon in the 9th than Rivera. I just think that with Rivera, once you see him enough times, you can get him pretty good. Hence why he does not have the best ERA against the Sox the past few years.
