Saban started a team unity council when he was here, and allowed them to vote on issues affecting the team. In fact, it was the team that voted Damien James off in spite of Saban wanting to keep him on. In any event, allowing the team to vote on issues has nothing to do with winning championships.
And for that matter, what is a college football team if NOT a democracy? These guys choose to play here, don't they?
I'm really surprised at how many people don't realize that Les Miles made the decision before the team voted. It was a charade.
If I were to describe this football team as a form of government it would be that of a benevolent dictatorship. It has a strong Defense Department and is developing a new aerial attack that will destroy opponent governments. Umm, I mean football teams.
Winner winner, chicken dinner. DonaldTG, you sound like a real subject matter expert when it comes to LSU football, team sports, and team concept. When you get to high school, you are a shoe in for towel boy. Dumbest post I have seen in awhile. Back to the Rant with you, little man.
