Just finished watching first time and would like to add to your excellent observations. 1. Shelvin is becoming a nightmare for opposing offenses ... Yes, the true run stuffing pass disruption animal envisioned these past two years and with Logan & Lawrence back (tomorrow is not soon enough), LSU becomes SCARY F-ING GOOD. I PITY TUA ON 11/9 2. Burrow is equal if not better than Tua and Lawrence. Thanks O for going and getting this gem ... I agree with SEC Network Heads Chris Doering and his sidekick Gene Cheesedick that Burrow is better ... On another planet and with the Defense coming on ... FOLKSES ARE NOW GETTING SCARED HOW GOOD LSU IS 3. We have been missing Logan and Lawrence. Logan especially had a good night ... When the three nasty amigos are all back you will see THREE AND OUTS LIKE NEVER B4 4. Our WR's are as good as Bama's. Maybe not quite as fast but as good. Our WR’s are: A) With Terrace Marshall back, our WRs deeper as overall group (Top to bott=6) B) Catching more passes for more yardage That means better in my book ... C) Higher completion % ... per targets with fewer drops ... That means better in my book Too many other stats ... These tie back to Joe 5. CEH is the most underrated back in the conference. We are now 4 deep at RB. Shame Lanard left ... Where are the crickets now about our running game ... It’s part of an evolving offense (without Terrace Marshall) that has not nearly reached its potential ... There is no illusion that LSU has the best off in America 6. Our OL played lights out Sat, they are starting to gell. CONCUR ... AUBURN NEXT SERIOUS TEST And that’s with Ingram in reserve ... on bench But the crickets will chirp that FLA DL is not as good as AU or ALA ... FL didn’t have Greenard and Zuniga (same boat as LSU), so were we REALLY TESTED ... We’ll see how well they hold up against Auburn, esp. Deculus but the AU secondary is so porous it’s laughable 7. Only disagree with #10. Clemson put the smack down on Bama last year with significantly worse recruiting. We haven’t been on par with Bama, but we are right up there and have a very experienced team right now. No reason we need to wait to compete based on talent.
There is one Wild Card in all of this and you saw it against Florida we were able to overcome, But when you play that team in Alabama it is like Vegas allowing you to cheat and win and them being silent. Bama will always have the refs bought and paid for well before the game ever starts, Florida was holding badly on every play and look at the last bs call of hitting qb low. Don't count out a few Targeting calls the week before Bama game. I ve just seen too many times where the refs determined the winner. Patrick Peterson Interception ring a bell.
