Shelvin is drawing more double teams than Ika and is ALMOST THERE D-LINE SET #1: LAWRENCE SHELVIN LOGAN ... were looking better but definitely RUSTY in their first game back together after injury ... Tackling remains an issue and there were several missed tackles against Florida, after a 1 missed tackle performance against Utah State
Did anyone notice ... D-LINE SET # 2: Farrell Ika Fehoko ... aka Polynesian Bandits were sharp as a tack on two Florida drives ... Third and Eighth drives 3rd Drive ... 32 yards (4 plays and out) 23 yard pass for 1st down ... Then 3 and out ... Never got to midfield 8th Drive ... 3 yards and out (3 plays)
My point still stands. Mond is an average QB at best, the numbers reflect that. As far as Mett goes, of course I didn't mock him; he played for my team. So what? And considering that one hand is more than sufficient to be able to count the number of QB's LSU has had in the last couple decades, I was happy to have him. But he is not the QB we're discussing here; try to keep up, Gump.
I think he’s a Tiger Gump Blend Beat down by a decade of Saban azz whippings ... Good to see Joe hit that near 90% mark while Tua went down against A&M with that pick ALL THE TALKING HEADS WERE SAYING IT WOULD BE JOE TO SLIP WITH SEC PLAY COMING UP ... It’s been a delicious week and we off to geaux collect that free $$$ Vegas is offering in Biloxi with MSU -18.5 ...
You think I'm behind. It's called being lapped. The numbers reflect he's average when he's in the top 25 of the 100 QB's ranked (out of more than 130 FBS teams.) Your point has no foundation because the very numbers you're citing tell a different story. Geez. It's right before your eyes. He's tied for 29th for touchdowns. Is that average? Out of the numbers listed (94 out of 130+) he's top third. But damn. 29th with 12th and looking at #6 with 17? Mond isn't better than Herbert here but he's there with Ian Book, Notre Dame (13th/14 TD's.) No one is saying he's one of the top five QB's in the nation. These numbers you cite reflect he's top 25 material ... which isn't average. It isn't garbage.
I never insinuated that he IS garbage. I just implied that he is not as good as Kiki seems to think he is. Again, try to keep up. Besides, you're only thumping your chest about Mond to make Alabama's win over A&M seem like something significant. I get it. Truth is though, that A&M isn't a good team. They're a 3-3 team that is 5th in the SEC west... or to sum it up, average at best. THAT is Bama's best win 7 weeks into the season.. Don't worry... your team will get a quality opponent soon enough.
And a back Bayou style azz whippin on National TV in Tuscaloosa... The likes of which have not been seen in a long long time
I think Myles Brennan could take Tua in Tuscaloosa ... Hee and haw all you want but get back with me AFTER THE BAMA GAME ...
