That's sad to hear, but not hard to believe. I imagine there were many more hearts on the edge about to go over last night.
I'm very sad or his family and friends, and I hope that he was a very old man who had lived a full life. If I was 80 years old, I can't think of a better way to go.
If you're going to have a heart attack there is no better place other than a hospital. Lots of doctors are season ticket holders
No matter how big a Tigers fan anyone is, this is an extremely horrible way to die. Surrounded by chaos and 100,000 strangers mostly unable to help you, while you're in extreme physical pain and mental anguish. A heart attack is a much more horrifying to experience then most of you seem to grasp. Being in Tiger Stadium in that situation would make it much worse, not better. Speaking as someone who's looked into the eyes of a dying man experiencing cardiac arrest just recently. Another cardiac arrest survivor who I aided and spoke to later said it was 100 times worse than the most terrifying thing he'd ever imagined. That person didn't leave this world with a smile.
I knew a guy once who died of a heart attack in a motel while he was getting it on with a woman who wasn't his wife. We all have to go sometimes but if you gotta go.......
That's absolutely what I mean. I've seen my dad have two heart attacks, and they are certainly terrifying and painful.
