... that gives the LSU D the credit it deserves. Didn't see this linked already, but, if it was delete it... or if it should be merged into another thread, please do. Don't blame just the Alabama kickers - SEC Blog - ESPN
Agreed, but I would add that LSU had some TD scoring opportunities as well that didn't pan out. There is no guarantee that Bama gets 6 after that near pick-6 that Lee threw. But I do agree that Alabama made a bunch of mistakes, and I do agree that both defenses were highly disruptive to the offenses. Thanks for posting.
I read the comments about how bama lost the game. How lsu didn't beat bama at all. Boy it gives me the flying red arse. I did read one post that made me feel better. I'm paraphrasing here. At the end of this season bama will have next to nothing to show for it. Second in the west at best. No sec championship. No national championship. The loss at home , while being the favorite will be all that's remembered of this year. Couldve, shouldve didn't and won't. Your heisman runningback won't get the trophy. Your coach lost to his arch enemy. You won't even be second best in the sec, that will be ga. You get to slop up the seconds while watching LSU play for it's third bcs trophy. You were the best team. Ha, ha , ha. You lost and you're on the outside looking in with the rest of the one loss teams. You have great company. You and Kansas state can hold hands at the dance and watch lsu bring home the crystal. Get you some of that you big red crybaby bully. Well I did get carried away and added some to the post I was paraphrasing. I feel better now. The gumps talking about how the refs robbed them with the int and punt hitting the wire chit pissed me off.
Both offenses made alot of mistakes. The defenses caused those mistakes. Had both offenses not gotten way behind the chains with stupid penalties the score would have been higher.
