Les should go old schol on their asses. Make the qb's, Rb's and receivers walk around all week with a football. You get caught with out it, wind sprints. And during practice this week, keep the footballs in a bucket of water. Get used to handling a wet ball and a dry one is easier to hold on to.
So, let's see, there are folks here that would rather be 5-7 than 14-0 because they want to see us "play to our potential." What an assinine statement. I completely agree with those that say watching a Hallman team play to its potential while winning 3 or 4 games was not fun. Also not fun was last night's game--and AU the week before. I'm worried about next Saturday in the Swamp. If we don't clean up our game, and quick, we will lose. However, using this now as an "I told you Miles couldn't coach" moment is both predictable and stupid.
I tend to agree with this thought, Miles has increasingly controlled more and more of the way the offense has been run since the beginning of 2008 due partly to the QB situation of the past. No more trust the QB and take chances. Also, with the division on the team in the latter part of the year last year, is probably still affecting this year's team. There appears to be no real leadership coming from this team or the coaching staff. Coming down hard on them for mistakes from Miles without giving them (the team) back freedom to "lead" the team appears to have many players frustrated. Miles must make a radical change in his approach to this team to right this ship. I personally don't see that happening.
