We can only hope. Heard a guy on radio yesterday thar really wanted Miles in Kentucky. He said they would offer a barrel of Woodford Reserve and American Pharaoh as a signing bonus

And the boosters at Alabama aren't meddling and annoying?

It was handled poorly by all tiers no doubt but Jimbo was coming until the money well went dry. I have heard concerns that Jimbo did LSU a disservice and would hurt our chances with him at a later date but it is the other way around.

I heard that guy too. He says Stoops will be on the hot seat starting the season next year, but not sure if UK would pull the trigger on him now? I do, however, think that Les Miles might be some programs' "Jimbo Fisher" and they may come calling now that this went down with LSU and Les. I am sure that several programs could tug his ear about loyalty etc....

Spoken like a true moron. Obviously you aren't an LSU graduate because if you were you'd care more about the integrity of the university rather than having a coach who "kicks babies" as long as they win. Fuck football fans who put "winning" over the university.

Maybe Les will go, I'm pretty sure he feels betrayed. If he thinks that he is gone when his contract is up, or he is coaching for his life like the end of this season, maybe he does bolt at a long term deal.

If I'm Alleva or the money brokers who went after Miles scalp, I don't tell him a thing. I don't make any demands regarding staff. Hell, let Peveto call plays. Give Leslie all the rope he wants. There is no way he overcomes the backdraft from this. Recruiting has been damaged, his offense will again suck and the defense will be iffy at best. By next November, after Nick puts half a hundred on our scoreboard and all the numb nuts cheering his sorry ass Saturday night who apparently believe feelings are more important than wins are foaming at the mouth to dump him, Duke Alleva can step up to the microphone a year from now with a shit eating grin, and ask, 'Had enough now?' We'll probably have to choose an up and coming unproven head coach, but by next season that will be a lot better than this dumb ass.

I gotta think Alleva's ass is tied to the success of Les Miles too now though.
