Thanks, but no, Luther. Take your tripe elsewhere.

What are you hearing right now with Toliver, are the coaches still confident he will be a Tiger?

If Luther would accept a grayshirt I would probably take him back just to really show up Bama and $aban. Im sure Davis has learned a lifelong lesson. I would do it to really stick $aban though, more than actually wanting to have Davis per say.

He went from being a lock to an uncertainty. Personally, I think he's just been trying to stir some controversy to pique fan interest in him & he's known he will be a Tiger all along. The confidence level isn't as high as it used to be, but the coaches still feel good about him.

This is the only reason I could see them doing it.

He didn't perform well at LSU's camp. Came in very cocky like he didn't have to work hard to get a scholarship offer, supposedly. His 40 time there wasn't impressive. Also, his frame is very small (Guy is 165lbs) & it looks like it would be really tough for him to add the 30 lbs he'd need to be a consistent threat at WR in the SEC.

According to sports talk radio in Memphis, Tennessee is supposed to be working on Paige very hard to try to get him to Knoxville.

Taking Davis back after what he did and what he said would remind me more of something Saban would do and I would be very disappointed in Miles and the staff for taking him back -- Davis has shown he is not a team player. Combine that with him possibly not being qualified and I say let him go to Alabama with our blessings and our thanks. We do not need problem players and when they show themselves to be potential problems during recruiting we should cut them loose.

I agree with you, I think that he is playing it up more than anything. Thats good that the coaches still feel good about getting him. Thanks for the info.

I think allowing Davis to come back would really show the prestige playing for LSU has in this state. More so Im sure he learned his lesson. Id only accept him though with a grayshirt. I wonder if his family could afford it though? If not its all on him as to why he isnt on scholarship.

If Luther had learned a lesson he wouldn't still be lying in every damn interview he gives. He won't get another chance at LSU unless it's 2 years from now after juco.

Although I don't want to hear anything from his MOM, I think that if he goes through the grey shirt route, and if he actually learnt his lesson, he may have more incentive to work harder for his position on the team since it was something he almost lost. In other words, that might turn out to be good.
