Funny, I tried to start a thread on his site discussing the merits of THIS board... ...but I didn't get very far.... :hihi:
I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend.... WHATEVER. :dis:
Say what you want about DD, but I know that several threads on this site and others have started with "DD is reporting .... " or something very close. Don is a good guy who works hard at getting information. Hell, he has already started calling around and posting information about 2008 prospects. Not to mention the sources he maintains at LSU and at high schools around the state. The site is good, it doesn't waste a lot of time on things that don't matter (I thought all the internet posts about the Alabama and LSU school airplane travel on some sites were classic). If you are an avid LSU fan you should be visiting his site regurlarly and donating to help him defray the cost. ldskule:
He's kind of like Santa Claus. His seeming naivety is kinda touching. Nobody's got a bigger heart. Even if you don't believe (in) him, the idea of him is STILL cool. In the internet age, he is really kind of a throwback "old sage" kinda guy. You don't EVER doubt who he's really for. I have always and always will like Dandy Claus errr Santa Don... :thumb: :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
"but i know the neighborhood, and talk is cheap when the story is good. and tales grow taller down the line..." :thumb:
Metry Tiger 49, just spit it out, it can't hurt anything to give us the player's name, especially since you have said it might not have any basis to it. Just don't start unsubstantiated rumors about guys on the roster.
Dandy is just a fan that does his best to stay informed... I can't read his site anymore because the misspellings drive me crazy & I can't really trust what he posts to be accurate, and I take his insight with a grain of salt. He praises everyone regardless of whether they deserve it or not (which some people seem to love, but it makes no sense to me). As for signing day suprises, Luther is texting the LSU coaches asking if he can still get on board (confirmed by Sonny). As of now, it looks like the answer is no, but maybe he would accept a grayshirt or something. There was another DE that came on the board late that Sonny talked about, but things fell through with him after Sidell's commitment. Also, there was some speculation that another WR could come up (Lionel Breaux, Paige...) if we don't get Toliver, but I don't see that happening. My guess is that we've already gotten our suprises for this year.
