Nope, and until recently didn't even know he solicited donations. NOTE that he doesn't require subscriptions to pay for the site, merely is asking for donations. Hell, I watch PBS too -- and I never give to them despite their unending begging for money. Never will considering their lefty political stances. However, I might just give DD some cash just because I appreciate AND agree with his passion (i.e., LSU Sports).
DandyDon is awesome, I read it every day.. I'm surprised any LSU fans on here don't read it. It's a quick update every morning, only takes like 5 minutes to read and you're caught up on all LSU sports news. Yeah he misses with prospects sometimes but who doesn't? He's as reliable as anyone out there and he is a huge fan of LSU so sometimes he gets a few things wrong but I'm not gonna call him out on it. For the most part his website is the best resource for LSU sports, especially football.
that reminds me, i usually talk with don on signing day. he is a very personable guy and likes to talk about recruiting and football (if you can imagine). i look fwd to seeing him at the bash. i actually sent in a corrction one time to his site and he was very apologetic and thankful i brought it to his attention.

I'd rather DD get my money 1st, He's on top of the situation come signing day. This is a great site, but a lot of here-say and waiting for people that may or may not have scrips to pay sites...on Info. I use Dandydon for that, and wait til its offical on Rivals.com
Hard to believe that DD reporting that he didn't believe a rumor started another multipage thread discussing the merits of his site.
I've heard some rumblings about a surprise signing on Wednesday from some people around the state, but who knows. Could just be rumors. I must say I think Dandy Don does a pretty good job and he has a lot of sources from coaches and others who are close the the High School football scene. Also, Dandy made a lot of contacts when he was a football referee. He gets a lot of info through these sources. However, football recruiting is a very fluid situation and things can change in a minute. Sometimes you get what you think is good info and it probably was until a player has a change of heart about what school to attend or what school he will visit.
