Updated based on Brockers and Randle leaving early. LSU looking to sign a JC 4 star WR (ala Demetrius Byrd) in this class. That would help out the youth we have at WR. That position might be the single concern I have about the 2012 team.
There were a few ? marks this past season, but we had a OBJ and Jarvis Landry step up. I see the same thing this year. Too many good players coming in.
I certainly can't wait to see Landry in action. Still concerned about experience, but these kids certainly have all the talent in the world to be very good.
Experience? The injury early in the year slowed him down, but with another year under his belt, he will do well. I did get a chance to talk with OBS before the game and OBJ will be ready next year. I do like some of the players coming in next year. Having a chance to see the kids at Breaux Bridge play, the Dural player is one that could help next year. As with anyone, how fast he picks up the offense. He could come in with the loss of Brooks and MO, return kickoffs. He has good speed, great hands, field vision and sees the green grass (The open field). Many of the kids will have a shot as always. Last year we had 3 EE, Mett, Hilliard and Freak. All played some during the year. This year with the EE, some of these players could see playing time. 10 players from last years signing class played this year. The 2010 class also had 10 guys that played the first year. Look for more of the same this year, if you can help this team, you play. :tigereye:
WOW.....We all Know this team will be good next year, but looking at it on paper is just freaking amazing the talent and depth comming back, and that is not even counting the impact that the incomming class will have!!
