You seen this young hungry kid named McGee?

    Yikes.

I didn't get to list RB McGee, RB Hilliard, WR Fobbs, TE Dickson, TE Jacobs, DT MJohnson, DT Ferguson, DE Aghayere, DE Maclin, OL Porter, OL Branch.

We're going to be 12 quality deep on the D-line.

    12.

And I havent' gotten to the 2 stud DE's in the 2012 class Feist and Hunter.

Feist = LB but hopefully someone like Devall or Channing Ward can join him. Devall is a LB too but I think he ends up as a DE eventually.

FYI folks, I saw the first Recruiting Book at the newsstand today. The Sporting news 2012 Recruiting Guide is out.......saw a few typos, but still looks like a good book. Leading into the Team Reports is a picture..........the pic is kind of like this one.....

I'm agreeing with you. This team is deep and seems to get deeper. It's really unbelievable at RB though, and I think Hilliard is going to be something special. Unreal!!! Anthony Johnson can only get better on the D-Line and I hope we have some LBers in the rough coming along.

I was telling my neice's husband earlier today that if we win the NC this year we could repeat next year because of our overall talent level and the improved quarterback situation.

Do you have any idea how many times I have thought the same thing about other teams in college football or basketball? LMTO
I love this thread, just awesome!

If the 2012 team does not suffer from Juniors defecting to the NFL, the 2013 team may be the best of the LSU era from 2011-2013.

    That's a crazy thought.

I gotta question? Does anyone know if Les is planning for a 2 QB system next year at times or situations or do you think we will have a 1 QB system?

It's not even Spring ball yet.

No way to know anything like that.

I suspect he'll always want that wrinkle in the offense with an option/running QB.

I just think we'll have Mettenberger with nearly 90 percent of the snaps and Randall with the remainder. I do not foresee any more QB controversy over the next 2 years. Randall will have his shot as a Junior with Rivers.
